FINALLY~we got "measurable snow!" Now, to anyone who has lived in Southern CA, and heard the news brag about "measurable rain," well, then you have an idea that our "measurable snow" was really just a dusting compared to the rest of the East Coast --- BUT, it was SNOW!!!
Our family bundled up and drove about 15 miles west, to the Croatan National Forest, where we were able to play in about 4" of the white fluff. It was the first time my boys were able to play in snow, and honestly, a trip to Disney wouldn't have topped that experience for them ;)
Here are some pictures from yesterday....still waiting for things to get moving around here....it's chilly! My dear husband is bundling up the kids to make a grassy snowman, so I'm off to join them.
