Wow, what a whirlwind this fall has been! I have finally wrapped up processing all the fall weddings. I still need to pull some to share with you on the blog, maybe this winter :)
In the meantime, I've been enjoying fun engagement sessions. I've also been enjoying some time with my two beautiful boys. "A" just turned five and has ran his first one mile race at the Great Mullet Run. I couldn't have been more proud! "G" has been enjoying preschool and the curious world of a two year old. I love being a mommy.
I have a fun winter ahead of me. Quite a few engagement sessions and bridal portraits before the spring wedding season kicks in. Just enough to keep me busy, while also allowing me to recharge the creative juices for the 2010 season.
On a personal note I have grand ambitions to run the 1/2 Marathon in Morehead City at the end of Feb. We'll see...you know what they say about the best laid plans? I haven't run in a 1/2 marathon yet, so it would be fun to give it a try.
Well, since no post is complete without some pictures, here are a few I took on the drive back from Greenville. I am still in awe of fall here in the South...so different than Northern California. Not sure which is "prettier", although there isn't much that can compete with the Sierra Nevadas in October. I love it here all the same, especially the swamps. On the coast, it's taken me years to see the subtle signs of fall, but they are there if you look. Here are a few swamps and cotton fields taken last week for you to enjoy.
Hope you have a happy Thanksgiving!
