We had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Katie and Jordan's wedding last weekend~what a fun couple of days! Katie grew up vacationing in Atlantic Beach and playing on a sand bar in front of the family home. So, when it came to planning a wedding, both Jordan and Katie immediately began brainstorming just how they could possibly have their ceremony on this sand bar.
Sounds easy? Not exactly! With a lot of planning, they were able to time the low tide, evening light and boat transportation to ferry all the guests to the ceremony. You see, like most sand bars, this one is only visible at low tide. Thank goodness the weather cooperated :) It was a beautiful celebration with both families enjoying the adventure of a "sand bar wedding."

It happened to be Pirate's Weekend in Beaufort. Their reception was at Clawson's.
I couldn't decide which ring shot I liked best -- these are the piano keys from an antique piano in Clawson's.
