A&S {Emerald Isle Wedding}

A&S were married on October 10th in what was some of the most unpredictable weather conditions. It went from warm and sunny to dark and nearly raining in a matter of an hour....just the sort of thing that keeps beach weddings fun! The end result were some pretty nice clouds. Enjoy~

Mollie and David {Emerald Isle wedding}

Mollie and David were married last weekend here in Emerald Isle. What a beautiful break in the weather~although it rained all morning, the sun peaked out for their ceremony and reception (much to the relief of everyone)!

They had a large beach ceremony with a reception back at a family beach house. Family traveled from all over the East Coast to celebrate and the afternoon was filled with laughter.

L&A Wedding {Emerald Isle, NC}

L&A were recently married at St Francis by the Sea Episcopal Church in Salter Path. The bride got ready for the big day at her family's beach house in Emerald Isle. The reception was also held an a nearby beach house in Emerald Isle.

Both L&A as well as their family's were just so much fun and easy to work with. This says a lot considering the fact this entire wedding was planned from out-of-state! We had so much fun capturing this special day.

Sandra and Craig {Atlantic Beach Wedding}

Sandra and Craig were married at the Dunes Club in Atlantic Beach. They had an outdoor ceremony on the lawn of the Dunes Club and were relatively protected from the windy day. After the ceremony, we went down to the water and the pier for some fun images. I was pretty excited to get to work with the Pier, especially with the green colors of their wedding. Congratulations!

Kim and Russ {Emerald Isle Beach Wedding}

I really enjoy wedding photography and the process of getting to know my bride and groom prior to their big day. Everyone goes about their beach wedding in different ways, and I love the variety I get to photograph. A few weddings always stand out to me each season...sometimes it's the spectacular flowers, fun bridal party, other times it's the story behind the couple.

Kim and Russ' wedding was one of those weddings. They were becoming a blended family and chose a very simple and intimate ceremony on the beach in Emerald Isle. The focus of the wedding was family, and the love this family showed toward each other was so strong it gave me goosebumps during the ceremony. I wish their family years of happiness and warm filled memories ahead!

Kim specifically requested black and white, so I processed with this in mind.

Monique and Tim

Monique and Tim were married last weekend on the beach in Emerald Isle, NC, the reception followed at the White Oak Bistro in Swansboro. It was a warm and sunny mid-day ceremony, but the heat didn't seem to bother anyone. It was a lovely wedding, with many special touches important to the couple.

My favorite part was following the ceremony itself....the bride and groom played a sentimental song and just started dancing, including all the guests with them. Seeing everyone dancing in a circle was absolutely beautiful.
