Margaret and Blair {Emerald Isle, Pine Knoll Shores Wedding}

It's been far too long since I've posted wedding highlights. I succeeded in processing my last wedding of 2010 in enough time for Christmas ~ quite a feat since they were married the day before Thanksgiving! I have most of my fall weddings "un-blogged" and am looking forward to sharing those with you this winter.

To hold you over in the meantime, enjoy these highlights from Margaret and Blair's November 24th wedding in Pine Knoll Shores. It was a brisk and beautiful fall day. The bride's selection of browns and fall colors tied in with the natural autumn tones. The ceremony was officiated by the father of the groom, and I have to say, it was one of the most touching ceremonies I've witnessed. Margaret and Blair are surrounded by love, and I wish them many years of joy.

Chelsea and Jeff {Beaufort Wedding Photography, Watercraft Center}

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and I have been in a processing frenzy finishing up weddings, print orders and fitting in a few holiday portrait sessions. In the meantime, this poor blog has been neglected. Rest be assured, come this winter (post-Christmas), I'll be updating the blog with the fall weddings that I haven't shown yet.
Here's a sneak peak of Chelsea and Jeff's Beaufort wedding. They were married on October 30th at the Watercraft Center (part of the Maritime Museum). What a treat it was to photograph in that special venue. Only two weddings a year are held in the Watercraft Center since it is a working boat shop, and that's not the only aspect that makes it special...beautiful water front ceremony, warm wood tones through the reception, simply stunning!

Carly & Brett {Emerald Isle Beach Wedding, Emerald Isle Wedding Photographer}

One of my favorite things about wedding photography is getting to know my clients before their big day. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to photograph Carly and Brett's engagement portraits last spring, so I had eagerly been anticipating their Emerald Isle fall wedding.

It was a beautiful day for sure! Congratulations to this wonderful bride and groom, you have many many years of happiness ahead of you!
